HSS’s location in the southern tier of the Boston metropolitan area provides unique advantages. While all the amenities of this world-class city are readily available, the cost of living is far more reasonable than in the center of the metro area, and the natural resources of the South Coast are readily accessible.

Some residents choose to live close by the VA Boston’s Brockton Campus, while others live in the southern suburbs that abut Boston proper, such as Milton or Quincy. Still others live in central Boston and make the “reverse commute” to the various clinical sites. Your decision among these many options will undoubtedly be determined by lifestyle and family factors that range from desire to be close to Boston’s nightlife to the need for a good school system.
